Description

This bright and airy three bedroom, two bathroom cottage located on the east side of Canandaigua Lake, had a dramatic renovation in 2004. The kitchen has been remodeled, the downstairs bath has been redone and a bathtub had been installed. Wood floors have been added thoroughout the house and everything is newly decorated.

This home features a spacious deck, stone patio and gravel beach encompassing its 123' of level lakefront and offers simply outstanding views of the lake. The deck sports a large tile-top table with seating for eight people. On the patio, there is a picnic table at the water's edge next to the natural stone breakwall. This is ideal for families with small children - the beach has a nice play area and the swimming depth is shallow and gradual. A mooring buoy for your boat is conveniently provided. Can you picture yourself lounging in the hammock under the trees in our shady cove?

Inside the cottage, there is a comfortably furnished living room, with decorative fireplace, well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker, and a dining area with seating for eight. Other amenities include a washer and dryer, flat panel TV in the living room and a second TV in the Master bedroom, both with cable, VCR and DVD player, local telephone service and answering machine, Weber gas grill and beachside fire pit.

There is ample parking for four cars right in front of the house with only one step down to the front door. All three bedrooms face the lake and have windows on two walls so the cool night breeze and calming sound of the water splashing on the shore will lull you to sleep. The Master bedroom also has a Queen-sized bed, walk-in closet, comfy chair and television set.

One look and you'll know why kids love the vibrant moon-and-stars hand-painted on the walls and ceiling of the "Star Bedroom". This bedroom has one Queen-sized bed and, as do all the other bedrooms at Duck Holiday, great views of the lake. The downstairs bedroom is large, easily accessible on the main floor of the house and has a Queen-sized bed plus a futon that converts into a full-size bed. The second floor bathroom has a shower while the main floor bath has a full bathtub with shower.

Deep Run Cove is a private road just off East Lake Road, four miles from the north end of the lake (Routes 5 & 20). It is adjacent to Deep Run Park, a small public beach with lifeguarded swimming. Just a few short minute's drive is Roseland Waterpark, Finger Lakes Performing Arts Center, the New York Wine & Culinary Center, Wal-Mart, and the famous Wegman's.
