Description

Enjoy the peace and quiet of southern Canandaigua Lake at Whaler’s Cove. This charming three bedroom cottage is located on a spacious level lot at the end of Sunnyside Drive.

Enter through the country style eat in kitchen with view of the lake and door to the lakefront lawn. A centrally located wood burning stove will quickly take the chill off a cool evening. Plenty of comfortable living room seating is available, and the open floor plan provides room for the entire family to relax together.

The first bedroom, with lake view, provides a bunk bed. The second bedroom has a double/single bunk bed, and the third bedroom offers a queen size bed. A full bathroom with corner shower is located off the entry. There is no need to bring your sheets or towels, as freshly laundered linens are provided with this cottage!

You will find knotty pine walls throughout this home, as well as plenty of windows to view the lake from the dining/living area.

A large dock is available to moor your boat, and there is a level lawn for children to play. A fire pit near the water is perfect for gathering around for ghost stories at night. Parking space is available in the side lot between the cottage and outbuilding. A wildlife reserve is located nearby, providing a great spot to bird watch! Just across the lake is a public boat launch and marina. The fishing is great at Whaler’s Cove, and you will enjoy watching the morning fishermen head out while you wake up with your morning cup of coffee. This is a very quiet, serene area and a great location spot for those who are looking to get away from it all.
