Description

This charming vacation home is located in the heart of the Seneca Wine Trail, just a short trip to Geneva and Penn Yan. A picturesque drive down the lake to Watkins Glen brings you to the Glen Gorge, quaint shopping, and racing. Nearby Keuka Lake Outlet has hiking, swimming, and the ruins of a 19th century town. "Perry Point Retreat" is available year round.

Entry to the home is on the West, and brings you into the main hallway. The floor plan is open, providing a welcoming lake view. To the right is the open kitchen and dining area with dining table that seats six. This leads to the living room area, with cable TV, DVD, fireplace and large lake view picture windows.

Sliding doors lead to the lake view deck. The deck is expansive, and spans the lakeside of the house. Patio furniture is provided. Looking out across Seneca Lake and the natural beachfront of this home is something special, locations like this are why people visit the Finger Lakes.

Off of the living room is the Master Suite, with King bed and lake view. A second Queen bedroom is located in the rear of the home. The lower level has a living room and kitchenette with two bedrooms; a lake view Queen bedroom and a bedroom with two double beds. A full bathroom with tub is located upstairs and a full bathroom with shower downstairs.

On the lower patio area, there is a table that seats 6. There is a picnic table and another patio table set. We recommend you stop by one of the many local wineries for a bottle of Riesling, enjoy a glass by the hot tub, or create a marinade for a few good cuts of steak. There is a propane grill available at Perry Point Retreat.

The level cove beachfront provides 108 ft. of prime, natural lakefront, and has gradual depth. The gradual depth in this slight cove allows the sun to warm the water making this a lovely beach, perfect for relaxing in a lawn chair, while dipping your toes in Seneca Lake. The water depth is gradual, about 3.5 feet off the end of the 4x100 foot permanent dock, making an ideal swimming area for families with children. Permanent docks are sturdy, and landlubbers will enjoy fishing off the dock throughout the year.
