Seneca (Native American for: Place of the Stone)
Located within multiple counties, Seneca Lake lies in the center of the Finger Lakes corridor. At the northern tip of Seneca Lake is the City of Geneva, and at the southern tip is the Village of Watkins Glen. Seneca Lake was named for the Seneca Indian Nation. Seneca Lake boasts the steepest shoreline of all the lakes, particularly at the southern end. It is extremely unique, and an amazing place to vacation.

Once a busy Bed & Breakfast, the home features a spacious living room, dining area, kitchen and bedroom suites. Everyone is sure to enjoy each other’s company and the beauty of the Finger Lakes, while vacationing at this home and visiting the numerous nearby wineries.
The first floor features a spacious living room with cable TV and DVD player, a stone fireplace, a dining area with seating for 10, a spacious country kitchen with plenty of counter space for cooking an impressive meal, a rear laundry room and half bath, a bedroom with a queen bed, private side entry to the patio and a private full bathroom.
If you desire some time away, retreat to one of the two oversized bedroom suites on the second floor. Complete with an en suite bathroom, living area with sleeper sofa overlooking the lake, and a private second story patio with an outstanding view of Seneca Lake.
The large patio at lake level has tables and chairs to enjoy outdoor meals, and a large level lawn for enjoying a variety of outdoor games. The dock is perfect for mooring your boat and a great spot for fishing or sun bathing.
Just 5 minutes from several wineries and less than 15 minutes from Watkins Glen, this getaway is right in the heart of many area attractions. With so many wonderful amenities in a quiet location, The Cottage on Seneca is the perfect vacation retreat for you!
**Please note the gravel road to this cottage is seasonal and somewhat steep. 4WD or AWD vehicles are recommended at all times of the year and are required to access the property during the winter months.**
