From the moment you crest the knoll of the tree lined lane, you know you are entering a special place. Located right on the East shore, the Boat House on Cayuga Lake offers incredible views in every direction. From the kitchen and family room you have unobstructed views of the Lake to the South, West and North. The Walnut grove provides a sense of privacy and seclusion. You have arrived!
Inside, the Cape Code style home you’ll find beautiful knotty pine beams, and modern nautical theme merged together to form the most ideal lakeside retreat. The open galley kitchen is surrounded by windows and is tastefully accented to carry the nautical feel throughout. The cabinets are fully stocked with all your favorite cooking and baking wares. Entertaining is a breeze with a space like this! A formal dining area provides panoramic views while you eat, and you feel as though you are dining alfresco. Completing the entry level you’ll find the master bedroom with king size bed, and ensuite bathroom. Upstairs the additional two bedrooms with queen beds have up to date décor. Additional sleeping arrangements include a family room loft with two twin beds, and a queen size pullout couch. All the comfort you will need to enjoy your finger lakes stay.
Outside enjoy a large wrap around deck that leads to either the upgraded beach area and a permanent dock, or the hot tub and screened in gazebo. Activities on site can include fishing and watching sunsets from the dock, swimming in the lake, boating/kayaking, or searching for lake glass on the beach. Stroll the walnut grove that surrounds the 8-acre property, or take a walk out the lane to explore the ponds. At night build a fire in the custom iron fire pit and enjoy the cool lake breeze while waves lap the shore. Keep an eye peeled for wildlife including bald eagles and osprey snagging fish from the lake, to deer, mink, fox, and beavers around the wooded property. Whether a morning bird, or a night owl, the Boathouse at Cayuga Lake has something for everyone!

The Boat House on Cayuga Lake adheres to strict occupancy policies. Parties, events and unregistered guests are prohibited.
Note: Your safety matters to us! The Boathouse on Cayuga Lake has one exterior camera at the front door of this home that faces outward. The camera does not look into any interior living areas.
Note: Smoking is not allowed in any rental property.

This house was absolutely beautiful! The pictures don't do this immaculate house any justice. We had a weekend girls trip for my sister's 40th birthday, and this house was perfect for entertaining. I only wish we could have stayed longer and will seek out this house again.

Outside was beautifully landscaped with all kinds of flowers and bushes and trees. Immaculate! The house and decks were exactly that too! Beautifully kept, so clean and wonderfully updated . Every bit of the expansive 180 degree decking was amazing. We especially loved the hydraulic boat lift for our boat. This rental has everything you need and want and just so much more. We would love to rent it again and again. I will keep watching for it !!

This property is situated on a point, with incredible decks, hot tub, and unparalleled views from inside and outside. The entire house has up to date furnishings and sound system . The dock and beach area are delightful and easy to use with kayaks, paddle boards, sailboats, swimming, and sun bathing.

We had an amazing time at this property! Family getting together to get away and relax in a COVID safe way away from the stress of home and work for some quality time together. Everyone had a wonderful time from grandparents down to a toddler. House is PERFECT and exactly as described . . . close to walking trails and safe outside activities. Recommend the Museum of the Earth in Ithaca only about 45 minutes away as a small but well put together activity just right sized for kids before the meltdowns kick in. Views and ability to just breathe can't be beat. Would go back in a heartbeat!
