Affordable and perfect for what we needed. Pretty secluded with all of the trees. The place was clean. Nice to have dock access. Water is deep enough to dive off the end of the dock. Fire pits were nice. Smelled like an old house. Stairs are pretty steep and there is an area walking up to the house that has exposed roots/rocks, so if you have older people with you who aren’t as steady on their feet, they might have some anxiety getting up to the place and down to the beach. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!
We really enjoyed our stay in this charming place because of the beautiful beach with lots of greenery and privacy as well as a great place for a bonfire. I didn't give five stars because the house and the stairs to the lake require renovation, but we would still come here again because of this lovely beach, a lot of privacy, nice dog-friendly people around and an affordable price.
If you’re looking for luxury, this is not the place. Cottage is old and basic but comfortable. It was also much more affordable than the fancier places for rent. Kitchen has what you need and we found the furniture comfy. I was in smaller bedroom and loved the soft mattress but if you like firm you might have trouble. We loved the private beach area with fire pit and the lake is beautiful. As many other reviews have said this is not the place for anyone with mobility issues. There are multiple sets of stairs up to the cottage from the road and the beach is across the camp road down about 30 steps. In addition, the stairs to the bedrooms on the second floor are steep and narrow. All in all we stayed for 2 weeks and had a great time. We didn’t mind the steps on a day to day basis (just tough to move everything in and out on arrival and departure)
Great property. It was just what me and my teenage children needed. Lake access. Nice covered porch and also a outdoor grassy area with choice of charcoal or gas grill. All the appliances I needed to cook indoors as well. Only negative about this property is the amount of stairs to get to the water. If you don’t mind stairs, this property is a gem.

We loved getting together with friends and family on the shore of Keuka Lake. It was a great stay. We loved having our dogs with us, too. A word of caution for those with mobility issues, there are a lot of steps, and the ones inside the cottage are very steep.
Maple Hideaway is very nice our family had a great time. The Keuka lake area was gorgeous. “Keuka Kayaks“ was was wonderful. They delivered paddle boards right to our dock for us. Great folks if you are renting paddle boards or Kayaks.
A simple old cottage was all we needed. It was wonderful at a great value in a great location. We were not disappointed.

We loved this vacation! Perfect distance to the water, surpringly quiet for being between the 2 roads. Amazing sunsets, quiet lake, perfect for swimming at any time of day. Very close to many great restaurants and wineries. Such a perfect little getaway! Keuka is my new favorite of the 3 main finger lakes!
I loved Maple Hideaway! It was perfect for me and my dog. It was clean, quiet, private, and had beautiful views of the lake. The beach was lovely, and the dock was beautiful. I wish we. Could stay all summer. So much fun. And Alicia at FLPP is always so kind and helpful. It was perfect for visiting Hammondsport and Penn Yan. I can't wait to come back in September for another stay.
