The rear parking area leads down 8 steps into the main entry of the house.  A country kitchen with white cabinetry and blue counter tops offer plenty of space for preparing meals for your friends and family alike.  A small breakfast table for three provides the perfect area to visit with the chef of your group while they’re creating your favorite dish.  Make sure to stop at the local Windmill Farmers Market for local fresh produce.

Just around the corner, a formal dining area with wooden table is idea for family style meals.  For those that enjoy shade during those hot summer days, the lakeside den area is perfect for enjoying the views from outside, while enjoying the shade inside. 

The second floor of the cottage features three of the four bedrooms.  Whether you’re enjoying the first floor bedroom, or a second floor retreat each bedroom is adorned with cottage décor and simplicity to help you feel welcomed and relaxed at the lake.

Outside, a gradually sloping lawn leads to 98 feet of natural lakefront.  A seasonal dock is yours to enjoy whether you’re sunning the day away, or seeing who can catch the largest fish.  Ideal for young children, the water depth is gradual and allows for both wading along the shoreline or swimming off the dock.

Bonne Carre is conveniently located to area attractions such as the renown Keuka Lake Wine Trail, the Windmill Farm and Craft Market, and locally famous Seneca Farms Ice Cream.  For those looking to sample the local cuisine, Top of the Lake is just a few miles north and offers a beautiful view from their outside patio.  The Onley Place Deli is about 1.5 miles south, bike, or drive from the house, and the popular Switzerland Inn Restaurant is just minutes south by car or boat.  A frequent choice of the locals, guests can enjoy a variety of quality food on their large deck and enjoy musical entertainment most weekends throughout the year.  So whether you are looking for a quiet getaway, or an action packed vacation, Bonne Carre is a great vacation destination!

Occupancy: This property is closely monitored for responsible renting.  The maximum occupancy of each home is the number of guests allowed on the premises at any given time.  This includes both day and overnight guests.
