Finger Lakes Trail

The Finger Lakes Trail System includes the main Finger Lakes Trail (FLT) from the Pennsylvania-New York border in Allegany State Park to the Long Path in the Catskill Forest Preserve. The main FLT is 580 miles long. There are six branch trails and 29 loop and spur trails that extend from the main FLT. These branch, loop and spur trails currently total 412 miles. The Finger Lakes Trail System offers 1,000 miles of hiking.

Finger Lakes Land Trust

The Finger Lakes Land Trust (FLLT) was founded in 1989 to protect forests, farmlands, gorges, and shorelines in the Finger Lakes region of New York.  We have saved over 25,000 acres by creating public nature preserves and helping landowners to conserve their beloved properties.
You can explore over 35 nature preserves conserved by the Finger Lakes Land Trust.  They are free and open to the public for quiet recreation.

Wine Trails

Finger Lakes Wine Country is home to four distinct wine trails, each offering exciting wine and food pairing events throughout the year. The events range in theme from chocolate, cheese, herb, barbeque, harvest and holiday. All are fun, unique and affordable. Some events offer souvenir glasses, herb plants and holiday ornaments. Best of all? When you purchase a wine trail event ticket, unless otherwise specified, it is for use the entire event weekend. Additionally, all four wine trails individually offer passport programs for tasting discounts and such.

Liquid Grains and Cheese Trails

Visiting a microbrewery or distillery is a great way to enhance your time spent here in the Finger Lakes region. Sample an ice cold beer brewed from the freshest and highest quality ingredients. Distilled vodka, whiskey, brandy and liqueurs are made from the locally harvested grains, grapes and other fruits. A visit to our breweries and distilleries will surely take your tasting experience to a new level.

Finger Lakes Beer Trail

The Finger Lakes Beer Trail consists of over 75 microbreweries, brew pubs, tap houses and brewing-affiliated businesses. Spanning roughly 210 miles, the beer trail includes breweries and brew pubs across the Finger Lakes region, Rochester, Syracuse and the Southern Tier cities of Corning, Elmira and Binghamton. The proximity of breweries to each other allows travelers to visit a number of tasting rooms in a one- or multiple-day trip.

Finger Lakes Cheese Alliance

The Finger Lakes Cheese Alliance is made up of 12 working family farms and producers, each creating their own brand of artisanal and farmstead cheeses. In addition, we have several Associate Members who support the Alliance -- from wineries and stores that carry our cheese, to accommodations that send their guests out for an "on-the-farm" experience. We invite you to tour the Alliance Members and enjoy our cheeses and the products and services that compliment it so well!
