We had a great stay - even the weather cooperated.  The kitchen was unbelievably well stocked  - it had everything and more as well as being a great working space.  Power strips throughout the cottage - great idea - made charging all electronics simple.  No need to hunt for outlets everywhere.  TV directions difficult to follow.  More detailed steps needed including how to clear your information at end of stay.  Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels - all in all a very comfortable place to stay.  Some water “toys” - kayaks, canoe and or paddle boards would be a great addition.  Sunsets are gorgeous.  Morning coffee on the porch was so relaxing.  Not a great location if you plan on daily trips to nearby attractions - the 2+ mile private road at 10 mph eats up a lot of time - that is the only drawback we saw.  We spent most of our time enjoying the cottage and lake so the road was not an issue - great for walking.  All and all - it was Great (would definitely go back if I was one who returns to same place - have too many unexplored places to visit).  Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it!!

Right on the water's edge, with waves washing up under the house and a wonderful deck overlooking the water, this comfortable, well-equipped and spacious house is all about the lake. Bring kayaks & flotation devices -- house does not provide. Shore is rocky and swimming is better at the very nice Long Point State Park up the road. Ithaca has great attractions and this was our daily destination. Walking along Honoco Road is an interesting way to experience this unique shoreline community.

This was a beautiful little house right on the water. The kitchen was well stocked. They even had a blender to make slushies. We enjoyed sitting by the fire at night by the water. The guys enjoyed fishing from the docks. Beautiful sunsets in the evening.

We had a great time by the Lake. The area is relatively quiet and relaxing. It was our 2nd year at the lake and is great to be able to bring our dogs with us.

This was our first (but not last) experience with this property. The pictures do not do it justice, that's how good it is! Extremely well maintained all the way around and literally on the water. The only drawbacks are there is no real lawn to walk your pet if you have a dog, and that the property is tedious to get to (15 min at 10 mph) once you are on the private road, but once you are there it was worth it :) We will certainly stay here again!

Loved that it was close to the water, dock and small beachy area. Not a lot of steps to go up and down. As we were an older group this was helpful. When they say the road the house is located on is 10 mph believe them. It is a private road and maintained by homeowners so is not fully paved and smooth. Drivers are very courteous and lots of places to pull over to pass. Just factor that in to your driving time Kitchen was very well stocked. Master bedroom mattress was very hard for our liking so I slept on the sofa. The porch was amazing. It had not been cleaned when we arrived so the furniture and railings needed a good sweeping which I did. I did call and they did offer to send someone the next day to clean but I opted to do myself so we could use right away. Plenty of living space to watch movies, play games and cards. Would stay again

house is great! the kitchen was AMAZING in terms of having everything you need!  Have never had a kitchen that well stocked - I felt like I was at home... and based on how remote (ie HOnoco Rd) the house is, you really do need to stay in and cook - which was easily done here

Good: on the lake. Old and dated but good interior. Very peaceful. Large master and bath. Kitchen very well equipped. Bad: very small guest bathroom. No exterior cleaning performed. Lots of cobwebs on all the chairs and elsewhere. Ugly: mostly unpaved, extremely narrow, single lane in and out with a10mph restriction. Very hard to turn the car around, especially if in an suv. No shampoo in either bathroom! The guests have to guess this is the case and stop by a store to pick some up

We enjoyed the cottage especially since it was right on the water but the drive to the end of the road was 2.4 miles, it takes 20-30 min to get out or back in. Once on main road Ithaca 25-30 min.  Overall we were very pleased with the setting, cottage and amenities.

The location on the lake was wonderful; the secure deck and yard for the puppy was a perfect for us.   The house was spacious and very comfy.  We'd go again for sure.

This property is appropriately named. It was very peaceful to watch the sunset over the lake each night. Loved the very open floor plan and outstanding master bedroom with view of the lake.

The house was beautiful, clean and well-stocked for cooking including blender and crock-pot! Very animal and child friendly with gated area to allow them to play but safe from water. The sunsets were some of the most beautiful we have ever witnessed. Property pictures were true representation of the house. The location is slightly remote but the house and lake was why we rented it. It definitely felt like home. Our dogs came back exhausted so it was a good vacation.

Great house. Right on water. Very nice inside. Had wi-fi and smart tv which were very important. great town nearby. rented boat on lake, which was great. grocery store is about 35 mins away, which wasn't bad. we highly recommend this property to others and had a great time with our family!

Upon entering the property the views of the lake were amazing. This place was very clean and relatively well organized. The pictures for the rental should be updated as it's current layout is much nicer than the pictures portray. I would definitely rent this place again.
