Escape to the Cape On The Lake! This spacious colonial style house offers a park like setting on the eastern shores of Seneca Lake. Peaceful serenity is abundant from the moment you arrive.
A flagstone pathway leads from the parking area in front of the garage to the main entry in the front of the house. Landscaping planted by two generations of family enhances the natural beauty and serenity Seneca Lake has to offer.
Custom French doors lead into an open foyer that overlooks the living room and lakeside deck. Enjoy stunning Seneca Lake views from sun up, until sun down. New living room furniture offers the perfect setting for gathering with friends and family, or curling up with a good book.
The first-floor master bedroom boasts beautiful lake views that shine in through the sliding glass door, and a king size bed. A walk-through closet hosts a jack-and-jill bathroom with tile walls and a shower/tub combo. Continue through the walk-through closet to the second, first floor bedroom with queen size bed and garden view. Enjoy views of the fruit trees and beautiful flower gardens from the tall windows.
The country kitchen is abundant with all your favorite cooking and baking ware. Granite counter tops shine on the custom-built walnut cabinetry. Challenge the chef in your group to prepare a feast adorned with local produce from a roadside stand. Pair your favorite dish with your new favorite Finger Lakes wine, or brew! Chit chat with your cooking buddies while relaxing at the dining room table; all while soaking in the views of Seneca Lake from the large picture window perfectly nestled behind the formal eating space.
An open staircase between the living and dining room leads to the second floor and finished lower level. The second-floor features two bedrooms. Each bedroom is decorated with both comfort and luxury in mind, and offer a pretty lake view with queen size bed.
The lower level offers additional living space set up as if it were an “in-law suite.” A large family room with comfortable furniture and a flat screen TV greet you at the bottom of the stairs. Just off the living area, a cozy bedroom with queen and twin beds nestle into the hillside area of this large home. Completing the lower level, the guest suite features a bunk set, small galley kitchen and recently remodeled full bathroom with shower/tub combo.
Downstairs, a walkout via French doors allows you to escape to the lower patio. Upstairs, the expansive lakeside deck is a focal point of this family home. Sit on the deck and enjoy the exquisite lake views of the sunset each evening. The warm, bright colors will take your breath away as the waves of Seneca Lake crash along the shoreline.
At the shoreline, 130 feet of natural lakefront and a large permanent dock greet you. Place bets to see who can catch the largest fish off the dock, take a kayak out for a paddle, or enjoy sunbathing and splashing along the shore. Adventures are endless when you choose a home as family friendly as this one!

We absolutely LOVED the home! It was beautiful, private and the perfect size for our birthday celebration:) It was close to an endless supply of wineries and breweries and we found some cute Amish stores to buy some delicious produce and baked goods from! We couldn't have been more happy with our stay

Cape on the Lake is a stunning home directly on the water. Our group really enjoyed using the fire pit, relaxing on the dock and having morning coffee on the back deck. We had 11 guests and everyone slept comfortably with no complaints. I would absolutely return to this home for another Finger Lakes vacation!

Great place for young families because of the fenced in front yard. The dock is beautiful and the new porch was amazing. The addition of a fire pit helped with our smores nights. Love the outside color, too! It has a very homey feeling there. We made so many positive memories!

We had a wonderful family vacation - the covered deck with a view of the lake was amazing. Our grandchildren ate and played out there between boating and swimming off the dock.

Lovely, well-built home with plenty of space for our family of 6 adults and 2 children under 10 years. The covered back deck and dock were the highlights of our stay. They provide gorgeous views of the lake and have great and comfortable seating for lounging and dining. The beach was perfect for launching kayaks!

A very nice place with plenty of seating for all 10 of us. The landscaping and stairs to beach are lovely and we all loved the deck to sit and watch the sunset. All in all a fabulous home!
