Upon entering through the back door of the property you will find a cozy library with flat screen HD television and over size leather chairs. Take a break from the sun reading one of the many books, while sipping a glass of your favorite Finger Lakes wine. Beyond the library you'll find a formal dining area. This room provides ample space for entertaining dinner guests, or playing games.
In the kitchen, the beautiful white cabinetry is stocked with everything the chef in your group will need in order to feel like they're surrounded by all of the comforts and conveniences of being at home.
Just off the kitchen is located the first-floor bath. Across the hallway from the bath, you will find a bedroom with a queen bed and closet and a short stair up to a second private bedroom with full-size bed.
Passing again through the kitchen and down a hallway you'll enter a spacious living area, offering guests the comfort of a large sofa and armchairs, flat-screen HDTV, and beautiful gas fireplace.
Off the living room is the master bedroom with 4 post, a king-size bed, and en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower unit. Completing the main level is a drawing room with tall windows and beautiful paintings, complete with a full size antique pool table.
Upstairs, you'll be pleased to find two additional full size kitchens, both newly remodeled in 2015 and complete with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. In addition, there are three private bedrooms with queen beds on this floor, all of which were renovated in 2015. Completing this level are two full bathrooms. One of the bathrooms boasts a full remodel in 2015 and offers a heated floor and beautiful tile work, as you'll see from the pictures.
Hidden behind a closed door on the second floor, you will find a beautiful wood staircase leading to a 3rd-floor bedroom loft area with 4 full size beds, a kitchenette, and a full bath. This level offers exquisite knotty pine walls and ceiling and is the perfect escape.
Outside, walk past the garage to the lakefront where a permanent dock, which is shared with one neighbor, offers access to all the lake. Paddleboards, kayaks, canoes, and life jackets are available for guest amusement.
Sit in Adirondack chairs to enjoy the sunset or take a long stroll along the lakefront at your leisure, something unique to Aurora as the majority of the Village lake front is open to pedestrian pass through, affording access to perhaps the most spectacular lakefront of the entire finger lakes (Aurora is pleasingly located at the widest point of any of the finger lakes, with the west side of the lake nearly 3.5 miles away across Cayuga Lake's beautiful blue waters).
When not on the lake enjoying the sun, venture out and experience the area by enjoying the Cayuga Wine Trail, Ithaca, NY, and Cornell University to the south, the Mackenzie Childs Store, Wells College, local State Parks, and area restaurants. The Aurora Escape is the perfect vacation home that you'll want to return to again and again!

All of our vacation rentals are professionally cleaned by our trained housekeeping staff in between each reservation. We continue to maintain the highest housekeeping standards. We use a CDC-approved commercial grade disinfectant on all hard and soft surfaces throughout each home with increased focused on high touch point areas such as light switches, doorknobs, remotes, etc. These efforts provide you the peace of mind to experience a sanitized, clean, and disinfected home to enjoy. All of our rentals include professionally cleaned linens from our laundry facility that are washed, bleached, folded and wrapped by our staff wearing PPE. We do not outsource any linens, towels, or cleaning supplies. All of our guests also have the security of a local 24/7 manager on duty to respond to their needs throughout their stay.
