Step inside and you’ll be greeted by soaring asymmetrical ceilings that create a sense of openness, with uninterrupted views of Seneca Lake and the surrounding forest. A full wall of windows faces west, capturing the spectacular sunsets each evening. With only one nearby neighbor and the Finger Lakes National Forest as a natural buffer, privacy and tranquility are guaranteed.

The open-concept first level of Black Diamond is perfect for relaxation and entertaining. The galley kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, and everything you’ll need to make your stay comfortable. The living, dining, and kitchen areas flow seamlessly onto a large wrap-around deck. Enjoy the sweeping lake views while lounging on comfortable outdoor seating, grilling on the propane grill, or soaking in the hot tub.

This lake home comfortably accommodates up to four guests. The first-floor bedroom offers a private, restful space with a queen bed, while the loft-level provides additional sleeping and lounging areas, including a second queen bed and a cozy reading nook with a bird’s-eye view of the lake. The bathroom on the first level features a large walk-in shower with heated flooring for ultimate comfort.

Nature lovers will be in heaven at Black Diamond. The private lakefront offers a secluded cove-like shoreline, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Finger Lakes National Forest. Take in the stunning surroundings while enjoying seating for four at the lake or use the two kayaks for a peaceful paddle on Seneca Lake. Watch eagles, ospreys, and herons fly by the window wall or overhead as you relax on the deck. A small fire pit by the lake adds to the atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a modest fire while taking in the sights and sounds of the lake.

Per New York state and county regulations, the occupancy for this property is strictly limited. The maximum occupancy stated on this listing is the number of guests allowed on the premises at any given time, including infants and children. This includes both day and overnight guests, no exceptions.

The road to Black Diamond navigates through a working vineyard, and then becomes a single lane, dirt road with steep twists and turns.  It is strongly recommended to have AWD or 4WD vehicles to navigate these roads.  A private garage offering space for 2 standard size vehicles with height less than 7 feet tall is available for use.  If your vehicle is oversized, or too tall, it’s requested you park alongside the driveway.

Firewood is not provided- please only use local firewood, which can be purchased at many roadside stands and gas stations.

The home has a complete water filtration system, replaced in 2025.

2. Homes are not handicap accessible, unless stated in the description.
3. Air conditioning is not available unless listed as an amenity. If available, air conditioning is considered a seasonal amenity and is only available May 15 - October 15.
4. Where pets are allowed it is indicated. Otherwise, pets are not allowed. Homes are not guaranteed allergen-free, even those that do not allow pets.
5. Docking capabilities may vary based on current water levels. Docking is not guaranteed if water levels are low and/or high due to seasonal weather and climate changes.
6. Outdoor amenities, including furniture, watercraft and firepit are not available between October 15 - May 15.
