Captain’s Hideaway is a beautiful recently remodeled home. The big open spaces on the first floor, with the rooms flowing into each other, create a comfortable situation. It’s location on Cayuga Lake, and the easy access to the lake, including the beautiful dock, make this a great place for a family to enjoy themselves.

July 2019 Stay

This place is a gem! The view is spectacular and the house was definitely set up for a large group. Have never seen a kitchen so well supplied! The extra special doggy bags were a certainly a sweet touch!

June 2017 Stay

Just stayed in Captains Hideaway-and loved it! This is a breathtaking property on the lake. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the house is clean, comfortable, and well equipped. For small children and dogs- you will love the huge fenced deck and enclosed side yard off the laundry room. The furnishings inside and out were quite comfortable- even the beds were great- leaving my picky grown children nothing to complain about. The appliances were great- just wish there was a second fridge somewhere for additional beverage storage. We fished off the dock and caught many small fish. The house is within 20 minutes of major shopping and restaurants. If you are seeking a large top notch getaway rental on Cayuga Lake you probably won't find better. I would rent this house again- so many positives!!!!

The only thing we needed help with was turning on the tv. There were 3 remote controls, and it was hard to figure out which one was needed for which box. Written Instrctions in the home would have been helpful and saved us lots of time. We enjoyed the home and it accomodated 11 of us beautifully. Beuatiful home

Our family was very pleased with the property and the lake. The house was beautiful and well maintained. Everything we needed was right at our finger tips. Spacious enough for 5 families to enjoy the week. Loved that we were able to include our 2 dogs. Thank you Premier Properties for helping us plan and execute a perfect vacation for our family.

Overall the home we rented was very nice. The kitchen was very well stocked and the furnishings very comfortable. There was plenty of room for our guests to spread out when they wanted privacy but also there was plenty of room for us all to be together. I loved the large selection of books and puzzles that were available to use. Initially I was not at all happy about having to change homes due to a maintenance issue at the first home, but the rental we switched to turned out to be perfect for our needs. We will definitely consider renting this home again and would recommend Finger Lakes Premier Properties to our friends.

Our entire family loved our stay at Captain's Hideaway. It was exactly what we needed!
