Fossil Beach is boasting with privacy, charm and family friendly opportunities.  Known for its select location on Canandaigua Lake where fossils can be found scattered along the waterfront, this four bedroom home has something for everyone!  Built in 1920, Fossil Beach reflects cottage lake living from days gone by.

A small covered porch provides a quintessential cottage entry.  Inside, an open living area greets you.  Comfortable furniture surrounds a flat screen TV and decorative fireplace.  An open kitchen and dining area allow for preparing meals and visiting with friends and family.  Completing the lower level, you’ll find a full bath and laundry room area.

The second floor offers sleeping arrangements for your group of travelers.  The spacious master bedroom offers a king size bed and private ensuite bathroom.  Additional bedrooms are cottage size, have a lake view and share a common area full bathroom.

From every room in the house, you can see beautiful Canandaigua Lake.  Open the windows and allow yourself to hear the waves lapping onto the shore.  For relaxing, reading, and sleeping there is a cozy screened porch off the second floor available to anyone.  In 2024, this cozy second floor porch area will have a twin daybed for daytime use that converts into a king bed for nighttime sleeping.

Perfect for both the adventurist and the naturist, Fossil Beach is nestled on a heavily wooded, peaceful piece of property – far from any main road.  Allowing you to soak up the sunrise each morning from the west side of Canandaigua Lake, this home is about 12 minutes south of the City of Canandaigua.

Offering over 335 foot of private lake frontage, and an abundance of non-motorized watercraft, your days can be filled paddling the shores of Canandaigua Lake in your choice of non-motorized water craft.

At the lakefront, a private dock for swimming, sunbathing or just parking the family boat is yours to enjoy.  It’s been said the fishing is great right off the dock too!  A lakefront firepit will allow you to pop open your favorite Finger Lakes brew and roast marshmallows each evening.

Perhaps going for a water hike at Grimes Glen Park would be perfect for you!  About 20 minutes south, in the town of Naples, Grimes Glen provides the perfect way to hike and cool down on a hot summer day.
