Stellar west facing views of the lake can be seen from the great room that is an open concept living area combining kitchen, leisure and dining areas clad entirely of glass. Enjoy the memorable sunsets from the wrap around deck or from the comfort of the couch. Adding to the coziness are the comfy couches, ample additional seating, plush rugs, soft cork flooring, sauna room and hot tub.

Stainless steel appliances, quartz counter tops and a thoughtful selection of accessory appliances are available at your fingertips. The dining area looks out over the lake and is furnished with a beautiful vintage wood dining table fitting up to 8. Prefer to grill? A propane grill is conveniently located on the wrap around deck. The bedrooms are cleverly “hidden” from the main area. On the main floor you will find the master bedroom with en-suite bath, second bedroom with hall bath, and laundry closet to conveniently refresh beach towels and swimming outfits. The loft level has two additional bedrooms, bathroom, accessory living area, and reading nook. All beds are outfitted with dreamy queen sized memory foam mattresses, side tables and just enough space for your vacation wardrobe.
It’s likely you will spend much of your time on the deck furnished with gorgeous and comfy seating arrangements. Pop down to the 225 feet of private lake front to enjoy the dock, take a swim, jump in a Kayak or just sit and enjoy the view. Eagles, Herons, Kingfishers, Osprey, multiple species of duck and geese are abundant.
Once you arrive an Hygge on Seneca you may not want to leave. If you do want to leave and explore, Hygge’s location is central to wineries, distilleries, breweries, creameries, and hiking. Our area boasts some of the best to help you enjoy your peaceful and relaxing stay.
The parking area for the neighbors is visible from Hygge. The land to the south of Hygge is adjacent to Caywood Point, part of the Finger Lakes National Forest. Hiking in that direction is suggested. The land to the north of Hygge is privately owned. Sounds carry on the lake, please be mindful. Hygge accommodates parking for 4 vehicles. Like much of the lake front homes in our area, the terrain is rugged. The road to Hygge is steep and has several sharp turns, we recommend AWD or 4WD. Please drive slowly and with caution. Boat trailers, campers and vehicles larger than a standard SUV or Pick Up will not fit down the road.
Occupancy: This property is closely monitored for responsible renting. The maximum occupancy of each home is the number of guests allowed on the premises at any given time. This includes both day and overnight guests.
