Beautiful sunsets on a beautiful lake
Exactly what we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of work and life in NYC. Peaceful lake with spectacular sunsets while sitting on the back balcony were perfect. Nights spent around the fire pit staring and counting the stars. Days spent exploring towns with history such as Seneca Falls and Auburn, lunches at nearby wineries and a tour of Montezuma nature preserve and a cheese farm made the trip memorable. The house is exactly as pictured, beautiful and quaint plus comfortable. Note: Only thing we felt it needed was ice cube trays and salt and pepper shakers. But we made due with a local market close by. Overall a Great stay and highly recommended. Thank you

Beautiful location, C+ experience
The cottage needed a deep clean and some general maintenance to really feel comfortable: there were lightbulbs burned out, shower curtain rings missing, dirty handprints on the walls, slider screen door mesh ripped out of frame, and the patio umbrella on the top deck ripped/bent. Also, the bunk beds are definitely sized more for young kids and not my college age children—my daughter ended up sleeping on the couch all week. We also didn’t see the email about “additional property information”, and discovered when we got there that there was a very narrow underpass you had to get through to reach the property. Our f-150 BARELY fit through it (side mirrors had to be folded in and inches to spare on either side of the truck). That was the negative, but the views were beautiful and our family did truly enjoy the week and the time together. The lake is enormous and I’d definitely recommend renting a boat to get to experience the whole thing!

Misleading
They didn’t tell us until a week or so before our trip that the very narrow tunnel would be difficult to pass through with our midsize SUV. We wouldn’t have chosen this property because of that. Internet was horrible! Could barely even watch the tv. Couldn’t get into the house; code wasn’t working. They finally gave us another code, said the battery was probably bad. We didn’t want them coming into the house to fix the code box, but they came anyway when we weren’t home. Wish there was a microwave! Fishing poles were in terrible shape.

Great little cottage!
This house is small but worked perfectly for my husband and our two teenagers. Very quiet and peaceful location. Loved the kayaks! We would definitely book again.

Quiet Time
My wife and I needed a short getaway so we headed for the Finger Lakes. Lake view Cottage was exactly as we expected. Quiet, and while there were neighbors it was very peaceful. Would highly recommend this place.

Cute Cottage on Cayuga
My family had a wonderful stay, despite the rain. Cute nautical-themed cottage, clean and family-friendly. Sleeps “six” in a two bedroom one bathroom home, but that includes a small bunk bed. We were not clear on what we were able to use in the basement so did not touch anything. Never got access to internet (one of us taking an online class) despite several phone calls. Otherwise, super cute, fun, and functional and would rent again.

A really nice cottage well kept , the only draw back was the single lane narrow bridge

Great space, just as advertised
House was exactly as pictured. Excellent location right on the lake. Easy drive to the other lakes and state parks for site seeing and excursions. The small railway bridge tunnel requires a slow going but was not passable for most . Overall, a clean and comfortable property. Recommend

Peaceful Area!
This is a beautiful location for sitting out, campfires, and lake bird watching. Cottage was stocked with plenty of pots, pans, cutlery, etc. Lots of outdoor seating area as shown Housekeeping was very responsive. The cottage has its charm, and it’s quirks. The charm is the gathering space, bar seating, at the kitchen counter, the deck overlooking the lake, and the willow tree providing shade. Nothing would keep us from coming back in a heartbeat. It was a wonderful location and a very enjoyable stay!

Cute little house with fantastic views! Our dog loved sitting on the deck and watching for birds & chipmunks. Lots of kitchen equipment, plates, glasses, and even corn holders for your corn-on-the-cob! We brought two inflatable paddle boards and the two kayaks on site allowed our family of four to paddle together. Only a 15-20 minute drive to shopping, wineries, or local craft beer.

Stunning lake view in quiet surroundings
Lovely cottage right on Lake Cayuga. Very quiet Northern section of the lake. Includes two adult sized kayaks and one child sized kayak. Clean Linens and towels were provided. Bed quilts needed to be cleaned. Bedrooms are small but have ceiling fans. No a/c in master bedroom. Second bedroom had a twin bed and a bunk bed with an a/c but a/c leaked water on floor after several hours of use. We did promptly report the issue. Oddly there was no handle on the inside of the screened door at The entrance so it made it difficult to close from
The inside. Bathroom is modern and a decent size. Kitchen/living room is modern and has a/c And a large wall mounted TV. There is a fire pit and we brought our own seasoned fire wood to enjoy s’mores in the evening as well as the fire. Large deck to enjoy the views. We rented a pontoon boat for the day to explore the lake. We enjoyed our stay Very much and would return.
