Here, guests can dine al fresco at the outdoor tables, relax in cozy chairs, or simply take in the serene surroundings. From this elevated vantage point, you’ll enjoy sweeping lake views that change beautifully with the light—from morning mists rising off the water to fiery sunsets that paint the sky each evening. The peaceful sounds of the lake and the soft evening breeze create a natural soundtrack for your time outdoors.

When it’s time to explore, Lakeview Cottage’s location makes it easy to discover the best of the Finger Lakes region. Just 15 minutes from Seneca Falls, Auburn, and Aurora, the cottage puts you within easy reach of charming small towns, local attractions, and world-class wineries.

In Seneca Falls, often recognized as the inspiration for the beloved film It’s A Wonderful Life, visitors can stroll through quaint shops, learn about the area’s rich history at the Women’s Rights National Historical Park, and dine at local favorites like Parker’s Grill & Tap House or El Bajio Mexican Restaurant. For lakeside dining, take a short boat ride to Wolffy’s Grill & Marina, where delicious food and spectacular lake views create the perfect Finger Lakes dining experience.

The property itself is so peaceful and private
The cottage is clean, cozy and well equipped. Not to mention, the beautiful deck and views. Finger Lakes Premier Properties was an excellent host, with tons of resources and communication lines available if there were any issues or questions during the stay. Luckily, we didn't have to use those resources, but we definitely felt taken care of during our time at the Lakeview Cottage.

Wonderful Spot for Family Getaway
We had a wonderful stay - house has everything we could possibly need, and accommodated us, our kids (10&12) and my parents (70s) all comfortably. Couldn’t beat the location and lake front, close enough to necessities (laundromat, grocery, etc) and some restaurant options as well.

Quiet and convenient
The property is in a great location for exploring the region. Ideal for 2 or 3 people . Lots of outdoor seating. It has a narrow underpass to get through, right before the cottage, so big vans and SUV's might find it hairy to get there.

Beautiful sunsets on a beautiful lake

Exactly what we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of work and life in NYC. Peaceful lake with spectacular sunsets while sitting on the back balcony were perfect. Nights spent around the fire pit staring and counting the stars. Days spent exploring towns with history such as Seneca Falls and Auburn, lunches at nearby wineries and a tour of Montezuma nature preserve and a cheese farm made the trip memorable. The house is exactly as pictured, beautiful and quaint plus comfortable. Note: Only thing we felt it needed was ice cube trays and salt and pepper shakers. But we made due with a local market close by. Overall a Great stay and highly recommended. Thank you

Quiet Time

My wife and I needed a short getaway so we headed for the Finger Lakes. Lake view Cottage was exactly as we expected. Quiet, and while there were neighbors it was very peaceful. Would highly recommend this place.

Cute Cottage on Cayuga

My family had a wonderful stay, despite the rain. Cute nautical-themed cottage, clean and family-friendly. Sleeps “six” in a two bedroom one bathroom home, but that includes a small bunk bed. We were not clear on what we were able to use in the basement so did not touch anything. Never got access to internet (one of us taking an online class) despite several phone calls. Otherwise, super cute, fun, and functional and would rent again.

Great space, just as advertised

House was exactly as pictured. Excellent location right on the lake. Easy drive to the other lakes and state parks for site seeing and excursions. The small railway bridge tunnel requires a slow going but was not passable for most . Overall, a clean and comfortable property. Recommend

Peaceful Area!

This is a beautiful location for sitting out, campfires, and lake bird watching. Cottage was stocked with plenty of pots, pans, cutlery, etc. Lots of outdoor seating area as shown Housekeeping was very responsive. The cottage has its charm, and it’s quirks. The charm is the gathering space, bar seating, at the kitchen counter, the deck overlooking the lake, and the willow tree providing shade. Nothing would keep us from coming back in a heartbeat. It was a wonderful location and a very enjoyable stay!

Cute little house with fantastic views! Our dog loved sitting on the deck and watching for birds & chipmunks. Lots of kitchen equipment, plates, glasses, and even corn holders for your corn-on-the-cob! We brought two inflatable paddle boards and the two kayaks on site allowed our family of four to paddle together. Only a 15-20 minute drive to shopping, wineries, or local craft beer.

Stunning lake view in quiet surroundings
Lovely cottage right on Lake Cayuga. Very quiet Northern section of the lake. Includes two adult sized kayaks and one child sized kayak. Clean Linens and towels were provided. Bed quilts needed to be cleaned. Bedrooms are small but have ceiling fans. No a/c in master bedroom. Second bedroom had a twin bed and a bunk bed with an a/c but a/c leaked water on floor after several hours of use. We did promptly report the issue. Oddly there was no handle on the inside of the screened door at The entrance so it made it difficult to close from The inside. Bathroom is modern and a decent size. Kitchen/living room is modern and has a/c And a large wall mounted TV. There is a fire pit and we brought our own seasoned fire wood to enjoy s?mores in the evening as well as the fire. Large deck to enjoy the views. We rented a pontoon boat for the day to explore the lake. We enjoyed our stay Very much and would return.
