Loon Landing

Located next to Harbor Lights Marina with a stunning view of "the Bluff", the driveway leads right up to the French style entry doors and level, flat yard. A sitting area overlooking the lake greets guests and leads into the main living quarters. The splendid, open floor plan is perfect for entertaining, reading, or enjoying the outstanding lake views! A spacious living room features two sitting areas, one overlooking the water and another in the rear, facing a beautiful wood burning fireplace. Vaulted ceilings and knotty pine bookcase wall create a warm ambiance and a comfortable atmosphere for entertaining with the 55 inch flat screen TV and Time Warner cable. The kitchen is oversized, with a center island for laying out a banquet style meal and a breakfast nook with dining for 4. The washer and dryer are hidden in a recessed nook off the kitchen. The dining room is located just off the kitchen and offers seating for 10, the perfect size for a family dinner! The master bedroom down the hall is appointed with a southwestern theme. The Queen Size bed overlooks the lake, with just a few steps into the attached master bathroom with his/her sinks, large tub and separate shower. Two additional bedrooms are located in the rear of the home; the first adorns a Queen Size bed and the second 2 singles. These bedrooms also share the use of the second full bathroom, with a shower/tub combo and are conveniently located near to the main living areas. The beautiful, wrap around deck on the lakeside of the cottage has ample, comfortable seating. The level lawn is perfect for children to play and enjoy a game of croquet, toss a Frisbee, or roast marshmallows at the fire ring. Two permanent docks afford great views of the lake, along with additional furniture for sun bathing, parking for boats and jet skis, and fishing. A gradual, shale beach is perfect for wading into the cool water on a hot summer day. Located next to the Harbor Lights Marina, those who enjoy water sports will love the convenience of a boat launch; bait shop, and filling station for boat fuel. Across the large parking lot is the Lakeside Restaurant, whose fine dining menu will appeal to guests with a variety of tastes, plus live music on Sunday afternoons. Loon Landing is just a short drive from Penn Yan and Hammondsport, where guests will find shopping, medical services, and several restaurants to visit. An hour’s drive southeast will lead to the Corning Museum of Glass and the Norman Rockwell Museum in Corning. And don’t forget to visit one of the many award-winning wineries on the Keuka Lake Wine Trail!

Occupancy: This property is closely monitored for responsible renting.  The maximum occupancy of each home is the number of guests allowed on the premises at any given time.  This includes both day and overnight guests.

3. Air conditioning is not available unless otherwise noted as available in the amenities. If air conditioning is noted as available, this is considered a season amenity and is only available May 15 - October 15.
4. Where pets are allowed it is indicated. Otherwise, pets are not allowed. Homes are not guaranteed allergen-free, even those that do not allow pets.
5. Docking capabilities may vary based on current water levels. Docking is not guaranteed if water levels are low and/or high due to seasonal weather and climate changes.
