Description Description
Equipped with all the comforts of home, Nature’s Crossing offers a peaceful respite to vacationers and nature lovers alike! Located on an oversized, one acre level lot, Nature’s Crossing overlooks Keuka Lake and the wetlands surrounding the north end of the lake. Ideal for bird watchers, a variety of bird species can be seen and viewed from the covered front porch.

The popular Sugar Creek, which ends at the lake, is a short ½ mile walk or drive down the road, where an exciting 2 mile nature adventure awaits those bringing a canoe or kayaks with them.

More than enough convenient parking is just outside the side entry door and the surrounding lawn is large enough for most yard games. The house itself is a single-story, recently remodeled ranch, ideal for all ages of guests. The covered side porch leads into the main entry, which features a washer and dryer and space to unload the car.

Featuring laminate floors throughout the main living area, guests are greeted with a bright and open living/dining area. The kitchen is just off the front of the cottage, and sliding glass doors lead out to the covered lakeview porch. A bedroom with a queen bed is located off the living room, and a full bathroom with a shower is just down the hall. Two additional, spacious bedrooms are located in the rear of the house, each with a queen size bed and one with its own private full bath.

Nature’s Crossing is complete with wireless internet, a flat-screen cable TV/DVD in the living room, and window air conditioning units for guests’ comfort.

Located just 10 minutes from Penn Yan, and 15 minutes from Hammondsport, guests of Nature’s Crossing will be conveniently located to area attractions such as the Keuka Lake Wine Trail, The Windmill Farm and Craft Market, and several fine restaurants. For those that enjoy swimming and boating, the Keuka Lake State Park is just a one mile drive from the house. For boat rentals, there are two marinas just a quarter-mile south of this property that offer daily and weekly boat rentals!

This is our third year coming to the cottage it’s roomy the views are great. The yard has plenty of parking and room for kids to play. We bring a boat with us and there’s boat launches near by.

I would stay at this home again in a heartbeat. Everything was perfect for me and my three boys. The yard provided so much room for us to set up a badminton net, have a campfire and pay catch and any other games we wanted. The covered porch was perfect for all meals and to sit and read. Everything was clean and wonderful.

This is a great place to stay on the lake. It is perfectly located to visit area wineries and other amenities. There is plenty of room and it is nicely appointed with everything you might need. Parking is great unlike some lakefront properties with steep stairs that need to be navigated with luggage, etc. we are already planning next year’s trip.
