Seneca Knoll

The house was well appointed and we are considering returning next year. One more thing we thought was odd. We arrived at 3:54 p.m. and the maids were still there. They told us we couldn't check in until 4:00 and asked us to leave the parking lot or they wouldn't be able to get their cars out. I know check in was at 4:00 but they really cut it close, leaving at exactly 4:00.

Very nice accommodations with only two minor issues: The bathrooms don't have enough towel racks so we had to hang our towels on coat hangers and the wireless Internet was spotty. We had difficulties with our computers and watching TV because of frequent buffering on days when the weather wasn't near perfect. The view would have been great without the utility building across the street but that couldn't be helped. We would definitely stay here again but we'd bring a drying rack for our towels.

Beautiful house. Really great view, which I was nervous from pictures we didn’t really have one. Very clean. Property management was friendly to work with. Only suggestion is black out curtains in the rooms, especially the first floor bedroom. Everything else was amazing. Thank you for the great stay!

We had an amazing stay. The house was in an excellent location, very clean and check in / check out were super easy. There were 4 of us girls and 1 infant under 1. It was the perfect house for checking out a few wineries during the day, and sitting on the deck at night overlooking the water. The only thing I would suggest to any renters coming in, definitely make sure to bring things like cooking oil / coffee filters / paper towels and toilet paper. You get 1 paper towel and 1 toilet paper, and they do have dishes but everything else you should definitely plan to bring or buy if you plan to cook there! Would stay here again for sure!

House was great and had a beautiful view of the lake. Easy access to the lake. There is a state park next door that had live music on Friday night. House had a nice deck that we enjoyed. Didn’t have any shampoo but we had some with us from the last place.

The fees for cleaning at $300 are excessive especially when the cleaning service leaves an envelope in hopes of a tip. We only stayed 4 days. And the check out request to have dishes washed or dishwasher started but only providing 2 tabs for the dishwasher is frustrating. We brought our own food so a trip to Geneva to buy dishwasher pods was an unnecessary inconvenience.  Also a bit of foil or a silicone pad would keep your cookie sheets cleaner.  Other than that the place was lovely and we very much enjoyed ourselves. 2 couples for a long weekend. Place was perfect with lovely views of the lake. Small thing is that we were there only 4 days and just 2 dishwasher pods. It is not close to a grocery store so for a weekend perhaps one or two more would be better.

Our stay was wonderful. The house was spotless and had all the amenities needed. Our deck view of the lake was amazing and less than a 2 min walk to the lake access which had plenty of seating and shelter. The house is located in a private dead end road with no traffic and a quick picturesque 20 min drive to Geneva and lots of wineries to visit. The basement was a huge game room with air hockey and table tennis and lots of other activities for indoor entertainment. We had plenty of space in the house to eat and sit together and still spread out and have privacy. This house is great for families who want to get away and just relax but yet still be able to explore with quick drives to local attractions. We visited the Corning Glass Museum and Watkins Glen as well as Geneva. We look forward to staying here again next year.

We had 3 couples celebrating anniversaries and we love wine. The pictures seemed to show that the lake access was directly across the street but it was down a ways. It also was not private access. The coffee maker and grill probably need to be replaced as they were wonky but overall the kitchen was much more appointed than we expected (based on previous house rentals) with cooking equipment, dishes, etc. Definitely worth the $. Beats a hotel every time!

We stayed at Seneca Knoll for 2 months this summer. We live in NYC and, with everything closed in the city because of Covid, we knew it would make for a very long summer with our 4 year old. I am so happy we made the decision to stay. The home was perfect for our family of 3 (and def could sleep more than that comfortably) and the access to the lake and Sampson State Park were nothing short of fantastic. FLPP was extremely helpful and responsive and the owner keeps her property up beautifully. Thanks for keeping us sane in the summer of Covid!

4 of us stayed in Senaca Knoll from 6/6/19 to 6/10/19, this was our first time visiting the Finger Lakes. The house was extremely clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The furnishings were very nice as were the bed's and linens. We made sure to get plenty of photos on the deck at sunset, absolutely breathtaking. We definitely recommend booking this home for your next getaway.

Seneca Knoll is a great place to stay, clean, welcoming, organized, and comfortable. Great view of lake, outside seating is a plus. Kitchen has everything we needed. Beds are comfortable. We loved talking to each other from the upstairs, into the living room, you will see what I mean when you stay!

I would highly recommend using Finger Lakes Premier Properties' website for finding a rental house. I would especially recommend Seneca Knoll house. It is well kept, extremely clean, and stocked for every need which made packing very easy. I would definitely consider staying at Seneca Knoll again in future visits.
