Centrally located between Ithaca, Watkins Glen, and Geneva in the beautiful Sheldrake Point area, you’ll find this recently renovated cottage directly on the west shore of Cayuga Lake in the heart of the Finger Lakes!

Located at lake level, after coming down two flights of stairs, you enter directly on a large porch with endless views of Cayuga Lake. As you enter, the natural light continues through four large windows that spill into an open floorplan. The first floor has a cozy living room furnished with a sectional couch, gas stove, and Samsung smart TV. The living Room naturally flows into an open kitchen and dining room with a large vaulted ceiling.

The open floor plan is ideal for entertaining friends and family alike. In the kitchen you'll find a brand-new GE range, large countertop and fully stocked cupboards with brand new cooking, baking and drink ware.

Completing the lake level space, you’ll find a private bedroom with a queen bed and a recently renovated bathroom with bright tile and a spa shower.

Upstairs, a furnished loft with farmhouse style queen and twin beds and a shiplap privacy barrier with functional and style benefits.

Outside, you will be comfortable with a morning coffee or evening glass of wine on elegant outdoor furniture. Additionally, there are other seating areas on the 100 feet of lakeshore; even on the platform dock sitting above the lake.

While you may find it hard to leave the water, this home will be a great hub for your visit to the Finger Lakes. Award winning wineries are nearby with Sheldrake Point Winery walkable, Hosmer Winery, Thirsty Owl and Myer Farm Distillers are all within 5 minutes.

Occupancy: This property is closely monitored for responsible renting. The maximum occupancy of each home is the number of guests allowed on the premises at any given time. This includes both day and overnight guests.

There isn’t a doubt in my mind that your staff strives to go above and beyond with every customer interaction. I *always* had a positive experience on the phone with each person I talked to. The app was handy to have, we loved the packing list and other pre-visit communication, and were so pleasantly surprised by the gift bag upon arrival. What a nice touch! We were saying if we ever own property on the Finger Lakes we already know we would use your company to manage our property. Your staff is the best!

Beautiful setting on the lake

The stairs are no joke, so pack light. The house is dated, but sufficient. Could definitely use some updating and the cleanliness was lacking. The lake view, kayaks, and dock were awesome. Recommend Wyckoff Farms stand down the road. We had a fun, comfortable stay next to quiet neighbors.

We had a wonderful stay. Morning coffee listening to the waves, walking the dogs along the quiet street and enjoying the beautiful views, fun fishing off the dock, and lots of wildlife to watch including bald eagles, osprey, herons, and a family of playful mink. Location was great and we didn't have to drive far to restaurants, wineries, Ithaca, hiking trails and parks. Cottage had everything we needed, and the dock was really nice. Thank you!

Our overall rental experience was great! The description of the property and it’s amenities were spot on. Our group loved the spacious home right on the lake. I appreciated emails containing all important information about check in as well as check out. I would definitely look to rent here again if we visit the Finger Lakes.

Peaceful and just perfect!

We loved our stay! Beautiful home- right in the water with a great dock and swimming area. Great beds, linens and a well stocked kitchen. We brought pizza dough and there was a pizza pan- score! Quiet lake, great wildlife and quiet neighbors. Please stop by the Wyckoff farms stand, it’s just down the road and has amazing produce and a burger pack to bring home to grill- so good! The kayaks were a wonderful perk and our kids loved it too!

Location, location, location

The cottage is situated in a perfect location. It is quiet and serene. We enjoyed sitting on the dock in the mornings, and on the covered porch when it rained. We walked in the mornings and it was pleasant, as the road was not busy. We saw a lot of birds, including an American Eagle soaring past the cottage. It is located close to some wineries. Sheldrake Point Winery is a little over a mile down the road - our favorite on Cayuga. We visited Cornell Lab of Ornithology which was only about a 45 minute drive. A few suggestions to improve the rental - replace outdoor grill and the toaster. Add another air conditioner downstairs. Put a blind in the upstairs window so people walking down the steps cannot see in. Also, it appears the owner has issues with carpenter bees. We were surprised by an exterminator one morning at 7AM while we were enjoying coffee on the porch. He was not informed there were guests, and we were not informed of his coming. He sprayed the sides of the house while we were there and was going to come back to spray the porch.

Great place

Great place in a great location. Had one minor issue with a smoke detector but the property management company was attentive and quick responding which was great. A lot of stairs but we expected that. We have no complaints and would happily return to this specific property and stay again

Perfect Winery Getaway Lake-house!

Wonderful stay for a winery bachelorette celebration this weekend. It was extremely clean, stocked, and perfect for what we were looking for! The only hiccup occurring in the check in process in which I was not contacted with the check in info same day as previously told. However, the customer service is quick and responsive, and this was immediately remedied with a short phone call! The view could not be beat, waking up to the water every morning was a dream! The road had almost no traffic making it perfect for morning walks. We even met some of the neighbors while out and they were so friendly and welcoming! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone!

Lively lakeside retreat

Great, well appointed house right on the lake. Beautiful lake views from kitchen, living room and even the shower! The brand new dock was a wonderful spot to take in the calm lake views. Wyers Point Rd. Had little traffic, so it was nice going for walks everyday. Looking forward to visiting again.

Amazing view!!

We loved being right on the lake. The views were amazing and we could hear the water lapping against the shore. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our long weekend. My only concern was I didn't realize we would be required to go down multiple steps to get to the house. I would have packed differently if I had known.
