The Ironwood

The Ironwood is a charming three-bedroom lakefront vacation rental tucked into the wooded hillsides of Keuka Lake, conveniently located between Hammondsport and Penn Yan. With room for up to six guests, this welcoming retreat blends classic lakeside charm with modern comforts for a relaxing Finger Lakes getaway.

A stone staircase leads to the main entrance, where bright colors and thoughtful décor give the home a cozy, vintage feel. Inside, the inviting eat-in kitchen provides a comfortable gathering place for meals, games, and time together. Just off the kitchen, the lakeside porch offers peaceful views through the trees and is an ideal spot for morning coffee, afternoon reading, or dinner overlooking the lake.

Upstairs, three bedrooms provide comfortable accommodations after a day of Finger Lakes adventures. The first features a full-size bed, while the second offers a full-size bed and an additional twin. At the end of the hall, the primary bedroom features a king-size bed and a beautiful morning view.

Just across the quiet road, follow a natural path and 13 steps to 150 feet of private Keuka Lake waterfront. The natural shale beach offers a gradual entry into the water, perfect for swimming and wading. A spacious 37-by-16-foot permanent dock provides plenty of room to relax by the water, launch one of the three provided kayaks, or enjoy the passing boats. Adirondack chairs invite you to take in the lake views, while the beachfront fire pit is perfect for evenings spent gathered around the campfire.

The Ironwood offers a peaceful setting while keeping you close to some of the Finger Lakes’ most popular destinations. Explore the shops and restaurants of Hammondsport and Penn Yan, visit nearby wineries along the Keuka Lake Wine Trail, spend a Saturday browsing The Windmill Farm & Craft Market, or venture out to discover the region’s hiking trails, waterfalls, and scenic countryside.

Please note: For guests bringing a boat, the dock is available but the boat lift is reserved for the homeowner’s exclusive use. Parking is limited to 3 spaces in the driveway.

**The Ironwood on Keuka Lake does not allow large or loud parties. Please adhere to the maximum occupancy restrictions. 

Per New York state and county regulations, the occupancy for this property is strictly limited. The maximum occupancy stated on this listing is the number of guests allowed on the premises at any given time, including infants and children. This includes both day and overnight guests, no exceptions.

Note: 
1. Smoking is not allowed in any rental property. This includes vaping and e-cigarettes. 
2. Homes are not handicap accessible, unless stated in the description.
3. Air conditioning is not available unless listed as an amenity. If available, air conditioning is considered a seasonal amenity and is only available May 15 - October 15.
4. Where pets are allowed it is indicated. Otherwise, pets are not allowed. Homes are not guaranteed allergen-free, even those that do not allow pets.
5. Docking capabilities may vary based on current water levels. Docking is not guaranteed if water levels are low and/or high due to seasonal weather and climate changes.
6. Outdoor amenities, including furniture, watercraft and firepit are not available between October 15 - May 15.
