The View at Lodi Point

We were a group of girls that went to high school together and we were looking for a nice place for a getaway weekend. It was a great location on the lake and the house was very comfortable.

This was a great stay! Couldn’t have been better, our ONLY complaint was that we ran out of toilet paper in one of the bathrooms, which is a small complaint. The location was great and we appreciated that they kept the kayaks and chairs out for us, unfortunately it was too cold and rainy to use them, but we still appreciated having the option, wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you very much! The rental was gorgeous and comfortably fit all 8 of our friends.

We had a wonderful stay. The lake was so clear and the walk-in beach made it easy to get in and out of the water with our 2 year old. We loved using the provided kayaks and fishing off the dock. The location was great, less than half a mile to a small state park with great playgrounds and a boat launch. Also just a short drive to some nice wineries. There are window air conditioners in the 2 upper bedrooms but not the 2 lower bedrooms. The living room was also air conditioned. The only problem we had was the water in the washing machine stained our clothes with rust. I think there should be a sign warning other guests so they won't have the same issue. Also it says there's parking for 4 vehicles, but it really fits 3 in the driveway.

We rented for a small group of us girls (mostly in our early 30's) to get away, have some relaxation time by/on the water, and go to a couple wineries to celebrate our friend getting married! It was a beautiful, quaint house right on the water with a beautiful set up outside for a campfire! Several of the girls commented that they were going to save the property for possible future visits, we had a fantastic time!

I highly recommend Finger Lakes Properties!!  They make renting a house so easy.  They go out of their way to help make you happy.  We left an expensive jacket behind and Jen in housekeeping was so sweet and took care of every detail to ship the jacket back to us.

Great experience with the rental and reservation process. The property was comfortable, well appointed, and well maintained. Check in and check out were easy. The location was a short drive to numerous state parks, wineries, and other destinations in the area in addition to being a great way to experience the lake. We would gladly stay again!

We had a great time kids loved being able to swim and go off the dock. Water was clean and clear as well as we got perfect weather it was nice to be able to wake and not have to go anywhere far to get to beach. Slept well and beds in my room were comfortable. Guest room upstairs mattress had a dent in middle but probably needs replacing other then that it was amazing! Oh and some pots were really old and chipped and dangerous to cook in. Frying pans specifically need to be replaced.

We stayed at this lake house and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had my son and his family with us, who enjoyed it as well. The sunsets were beautiful and the water was crystal clear. The whole family had a great time. We loved being right on the lake with easy access to the lake. I wish all rental homes included kayaks! The youngest members of our group loved being paddled over to the park at the point. Plus easy access to wonderful hikes in Watkins Glen and Ithaca and of course the Wine Trail. Something for everyone!

We had a lovely stay at The View at Lodi Point! The house is as advertised, and it was enough space for four adults and four children (8 and under). The house was ready for us when we arrived, and Premier Properties even called us to make sure we were all set! The house is right on the lake, and the view is both breathtaking and charming. There are plenty of seats to sit by the water, and we used the kayaks & life jackets provided to enjoy some time on the lake. The weather wasn't great for a good portion of our visit, but it didn't matter! We took part in story hour at the library in Ovid, played at the Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, shopped at the Waterloo Outlets, and spent a lot of time at the state park with two playgrounds just up the street, a walk away! The park was a pleasant surprise. The owner stopped by to say hi towards the end of our visit, and we learned that he even stacked the wood in the fire pit before our visit to make it easy for us. We would definitely return to The View at Lodi Point and highly recommend it others.

Our parents came from India just two days before our vacation at Lodi Point. The whole family was meeting after a year. We wanted to go somewhere clean and peaceful for a relaxing vacation as they were jet-lagged after the long flight. My parents were ecstatic to see the place and enjoyed the stay thoroughly. The house was very neat and clean, it was beautiful to sit outside with everyone and catch up with year long stories. Thank you very much for giving such a special holiday!! We have already recommended the cottage to few of our friends and we ourselves want to visit again in future. Keep up the great work!

My friends and I, a group of 6, was very happy with our vacation stay. This was a very modest cottage offering a beautiful view of both sunrise and sunset. The area is very quiet even during the day and water was nice and clear. My friends and I all got to enjoy sunbathing on the long dock, paddling in the kayaks offered and played frisbee, football and volleyball on the lawn. Premier Properties was great in getting the cottage ready for our arrival. It was clean, fire pit was set up, and loved the electronic keypad at the front door, made checking in and out so simple! The owner of the cottage stopped by to say hi and to make sure everything was in order for us. He even brought us an extra propane tank for the bbq and lettuce freshly picked from his garden.
