About Fox Run Vineyards
Fox Run Vineyards, situated on the western edge of Seneca Lake, is known for their high standards and immaculate attention to detail. The tasting room is open from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., and on Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Fox Run Vineyards is dog- and family-friendly!
Tour the Grounds
When you arrive, we suggest you purchase a ticket to the vineyard and winery tour right away. The tours are held every day of the week and leave on the hour, with the last one departing at 4:00 p.m. Tickets are just $5 per person and kids 15 and under are free. After the tour, head to their tasting room for some samples. There is a $5 tasting fee for all guests, and youâll receive a coupon for $2 off a bottle of wine. Be sure to chat with their knowledgeable staff and ask them any questions you may have. If you really want to treat yourself, order something from their cafe menu. This seasonal restaurant offers everything from tacos to artisan cheese boards. Each item has been carefully paired with a wine, so you can sense how the flavors play off of each other.
Attend the Glorious Garlic Festival
If you love a pungent punch of produce in your food, youâll love the Glorious Garlic Festival. It takes place every year during the first week of August at the Fox Run Vineyard. Thereâs live music, plenty of delicious garlicky food, and (of course) fantastic wines. You can shop among the over 15 different varieties of garlic at the festival (perfect for cooking or for planting) or watch some cooking demonstration to make something at home. Admission to the festival is free so donât miss it!
