Hidden Treasure

Hidden Treasure is a unique home that rests tucked away on stunning Keuka Lake. Nestled in between wooded lots, this property allows the utmost in privacy. The stone stairs that lead down to the house awaken your senses as you descend down to the covered veranda and the front door. The artfully hand-crafted stonework around the perimeter of the house creates the illusion of an English style castle. There is a Romeo and Juliet style terrace off of the dining room and several covered porches. A large stone patio provides an outdoor dining area which overlooks an exquisite view of Keuka Lake. It’s perfect for a relaxing meal with friends and family.

Each view of the lake offers a private and serene place to enjoy a sunrise, take an afternoon snooze, or read a book. There are the two rocking chairs on the side porch off of the dining room. There is also a lower terrace with private chairs and a table for enjoying a cool drink on a hot day. The best view is down a winding, hand-hewn, stone staircase that leads to a private pebble beach. This is the ideal spot for taking in the sunrise in the morning or stargazing at night. There the tranquil waters of Keuka Lake lap onto the beach where renters can dive off the dock for a swim or take the canoe out for an invigorating ride on the lake.

The inside of the house is just as beautiful with wide-planked wood floors and rustic Mexican tile. The house, stonework, and landscaping were all planned and custom built by our folks who thoughtfully crafted each room. Upon entering you will see that the TV room connects to the sitting room, kitchen, and dining room. This great room gives plenty of space to gather and enjoy magnificent views of the lake. The artisan kitchen provides a generous amount of cooking equipment and dishes making it perfect for preparing meals with friends and/or family. Two large skylights and multiple windows allow for ample sunlight. There is seating around the kitchen island for four. Past the sitting area is a spacious dining table with room for eight people to sit comfortably, perfect for an afternoon lunch, an evening meal, or a game of Scrabble. A grill awaits on the stone patio if you like to barbecue.

A brief walk down the hall will take you to the 1st-floor bedroom with windows that look out onto the water. At the end of the first-floor hallway is a bedroom with king size bed and sitting area that opens onto the outside dining area. There are several chairs and couches in this room making it quite comfortable for relaxing while on your perfect Finger Lakes getaway. Next, the stairs lead up to two spacious bedrooms with impressive lakeside views. Each one has a luxurious queen bed and is fully equipped with an expansive walk-in closet and its own stylish bathroom.

Occupancy: This property is closely monitored for responsible renting.  The maximum occupancy of each home is the number of guests allowed on the premises at any given time.  This includes both day and overnight guests.
